Special Sunday Edition!

Because Kebin and I were keeping hot and tan in Arizona and Maddy was keepin it real in visiting grad schools this Friday, we decided to have brunch when we all returned on Sunday. We went to Equinox on Mississippi.The food was delicious! Service was just okay. I had to make many awkward glances to the waitress in order to get more coffee. Or maybe they weren't awkward but actually repulsive and that is why she wouldn't give me any damn coffee. I love avocados. The weather was beautiful! I enjoyed taking photos and we even discovered an adult tree house on our walk back to our car! It was complete with a lamp and arm chair. Wonderful brunch date.

A fair start to Fall Break!

Right before fall break the Brunchship club decided to go to the By-Way Cafe for brunch. It was a cute diner near the pearl district downtown. I had been there with family and the place has even mentioned on the Food Network! Kevin loved the fun license plates on the walls and the eclectic assortment of coffee mugs. The coffee was yum and the food was alright yum. I prefer the ingredients in my omelets to be cooked before added and they were not. Also what is up with every place only offering raspberry jam??
