Bijou? That's a French-ass Name!

The Bijou Cafe was mmm mmm good! We decided to go to brunch on a Thursday this week since we will be gone for the holidays on Friday. The ambiance at the cafe was welcoming and grown-up. Also well lit. I had the Farmer's Omelet. The ingredients inside were well cooked, the cheese all yum and melty and the eggs cooked perfectly. I was a little sad they had run out of baguette but the chocolate chip banana muffin that came with was pretty good. After a night of drinking this afternoon brunch hit the spot.

Okay fine Beaterville was actually beater than I remembered.

I have to admit I actually enjoyed Beaterville today. I had the Matador and I think I liked it mostly because I like the name, Spanish things are almost always good. I loved the hearty avocados that were in it and the jack cheese was melted just right. Something that Kebin ruined about the potatoes though was when he mentioned that they tasted fishy, and from that point on they did. Our waitress was nice and sassy and had a delightful figure. Yum Yum coffee.
